Total Chaos!

I have been reminded to put a new post up, however I am only going to be able to manage a small post tonight considering our busy christmas schedule! I don't think I have posted since around halloween so my upcoming posts will include halloween, thanksgiving, Hawaii trip, Emma's 6th birthday, and plenty of other random hilarious events! So in the meantime have a very Merry Christmas!.... stay tuned

Was the majority of people born in the fall or something? We have been at a Birthday bash about every 6 days in the past month. With Chase's coming and then Halloween, Thanksgiving, Emma's B-day, Christmas... and so on, is it ever going to slow down? I can clearly tell the answer will be NO! The crazy thing is I think we are okay with that. We love having fun parties to go to and holidays to decorate for. If it wasn't for those ever so frequent events we would be plagued with a very monotonous life. I mean the kids enjoy eating sweets to their hearts content and the shopping and crafts that go hand in hand with such fun holidays and events. I have learned a truly wonderful lesson through this busy time, and that is to enjoy where I am and what I am doing NOW. Because one day I will want to go back to the days with little fingerprints all over my glass and play-doh in my carpet just to love on my babies again, and guess what I won't be able to. My new theory live it up & make great memories because the cost, mess, & exhaustion is totally worth it!

What don't we do?

Emma feels the need to do a hide-and-seek session before bedtime!

We do make sure Mom goes out on her Girls Nights because they are a must!

Taylor likes to do fun crafts with her girlfriends when they come over to play!

We do want our family to be aware of our progress on our award charts!

We do look to find silly situations to take pictures in!

Apparently, we do ride bikes inside!

We do enjoy having great friends over for fun play-dates!

We do go to Grandma's for fun family nights where we eat, swim, and relax!

We do go to Birthday Parties (sometimes every week)!

I guess the only thing we don't do is lead a boring life! And we like it that way! :)

We haven't disappeared

I know our posts used to be weekly but you'd be amazed at what we have had to do lately...(p.s. it might be easier to look at the photos from bottom to top to understand my backwards post sorry I hope to have better luck next time!)

Emma just started Kindergarten which is great for her... but sad for me! My little buddy gone for 2 hours a day! :( I am excited to get more done with her gone but really she is such a help that I think I need her.

Taylor is just starting Preschool at Superstar preschool with Miss Debbie where Emma went last year. She seems really excited to go but I want to be with her too helping out in her class. The only problem is I can't be in 2 places at once because they both are at school at the same time. Except for Taylor only goes on Tues. and Thurs.

These are their first day of school pics. Emma wanted to wear "high-heels and a skirt", and Taylor was asked to dress up as her favorite zoo animal which is a Giraffe. Emma got a little carried away with this photo shoot!

Emma has found some great friends in school already. As you can see she has tuns of energy and is loving "Kindygardin"!

We helped out with the YM/YW boating activity this year. I guess any excuse we can get to go to the lake we'll be there. It was really fun because it was a little overcast so it wasn't too sunny. It was crazy though because we got off the lake and headed home and right a we got in our garage it started raining! Talk about good timing!!!

I was putting the girls to bed the other night and I walk in to see them playing tickle war with daddy! It was funny to watch them scream and laugh! I love that Chad likes to play so much with the kids.

My friend Alissa did a really fun BBQ today at her house. The Girls loved playing with all the friends and the fun slide. I guess Chase loves soda pop now? silly boy! We got a cute pic of all of us girls! I can't wait till GIRLS NIGHT OUT on Thursday!

Our Chaotic Summer

FYI: there are a lot of pictures below before you can read my post, and some are taken by Chad Viewer Discretion is advised!

Did you make it through all the pics? Sorry about the butt pictures that is what you get when you have Chad play camera-man. I hope you aren't offended, now on with my post ...

Between my 24th birthday, Mike going to BYU Hawaii, the 24th of July float, Our 6th Wedding Anniversary, Veyo Ward Party, and new boat we have been super-duper busy! It's the fun kind of busy that you don't really mind being tired from, but it is sure nice to return to a more scheduled routine.

Emma starts preschool at Vista (a charter school) on the 24th of August and Tay-Tay starts school on the 25th at Super-Star pre-school with Miss Debbie! They are both really excited and I am the one having a hard time accepting the fact that my little girls are going to school.

We are busy at the Auction as we have just celebrated the 1st Anniversary on the 31st of July(along with Mom & Dad's 28th Anniversary woot-woot). The Auction has doubled it's business since this time last year and is still growing. Hopefully one day we will be "Manhiem" big.

I am serving on the Ward Activities Committee, Enrichment Committee, & as a Ward Missionary with Chad. I have also started training for the 1/2 marathon in November. I used to do fun play-dates and girls nights and I miss those so next week I am getting everyone together again! I have made some really great friends from running and church and I love spending time with them!

Chad has been busy with work and when he isn't working he wants to go to the lake. At least we are all getting really tan right? Emma did learn how to water-ski, however she likes to play in the sand the most. Chad is getting his wake-boarding skills back. Chase is lulled to sleep on the boat which makes it really easy to have more fun. Taylor is Emma's shadow and does whatever she wants.

We just bought a mac and I will blog more so I won't have huge long posts as much like this. Well at least that's the plan! Hope everyone had an awesome summer! Also there is an open invitation to anyone that wants to go boating!

THE END... for now
